Modular Launay floor lamp

The Modular lamp offers a playful array of possibilities… feeding an ever-evolving desire for change while challenging the impulse to over-consume.
New configurations can be made by shuffling the Shade Modules, encouraging you to personalise and play with your lighting.
Due to the asymmetrical nature of the shade modules, flipping them expands the potential to create 20+ different configurations.
This is an illuminated art piece, originally designed to exhibit.

Assorted washi papers, wood pulp ribbon, raffia stitch, recycle-able acrylic, aluminium, stainless steel, Australian timbers.

Illumination / Electrical:
24V LED COB, fixed onto aluminium bar, inside Plexiglas® tube.
15W, 750 lumens, 2700K colour temperature.
100V/240VAC compatible transformer included, fitted inside lamp base.

The LED Cob and Driver have an approximate 10 year lifespan, replacements and or advice will be available when required. International plugs available

Lead time : 16-18 weeks

The Modular floor Lamp is hand made to order, making each edition a completely individual piece.
Due to the individuality of hand made work, contrasting symmetries may occur, these perfect imperfections add unique qualities to each edition made.
With natural fibres comes a natural fragility, while the papers are sealed for protection, I recommend using soft gloves when re-configuring the modules, as per the enclosed assembly guide.  Please consider the delicacy of paper lighting and notice the soft ambiance it offers to your space.
Wooden bases are carved by Australian woodworker Sam Creasy
The wooden components are subject to timber availability and can vary slightly in grain and tone.
